Construction is currently underway on a water main improvement project along the west side of W. Frontage Road, approximately between the curve near Central Avenue and the south end of Fields. This project is part of the Village’s ongoing investment in maintaining and upgrading critical infrastructure.

The $880,000 project will replace a section of water main that is more than 80 years old and has experienced repeated breaks over time. Once complete, the new water main will significantly improve water quality and system reliability for residents and businesses in the area. Construction is expected to take approximately six weeks, weather permitting, and may be extended if temperatures become too cold.

The work is being performed by Everlast Blacktop, an experienced water main contractor. Ciorba Consulting Engineers are overseeing the project on behalf of the Village to ensure quality and safety throughout construction.
