This year, trick or treating will be held from 3:00-7:30 PM on Tuesday, October 31st. Halloween is a fun time of the year, but it is important to keep safety in mind. Below are some tips from the Police Department on how to have a safe and enjoyable Halloween: 

• Young trick or treaters should always be accompanied by an adult
• Make sure older children stay in a group and know their curfew
• Check treats before letting your children eat them
• Costumes should be flame-resistant and made of bright or reflective material
• Never enter anyone’s home
• Cross streets at the corners, preferably in a marked intersection
