On August 14, 2017, the Plan & Zoning Commission will be reviewing an application from Edward R. James Partners seeking to build 34 rental townhomes on the 2.16 acre parcel located at 1725 Winnetka Road. The petitioner is seeking approval for a change to the current zoning from M-1 Light Manufacturing to R-6 Multiple Family Residential; approval of a Special Use permit in the form of a Planned Unit Development; and relief from the following Zoning Code requirements: minimum lot area per dwelling unit; maximum dwelling units per acre; minimum front yard setback; maximum floor area ratio; maximum lot coverage; and maximum building height.
