On Wednesday, January 2, 2019, the Plan and Zoning Commission will consider text amendments to the Zoning Code, Nuisance Chapter and Offenses Chapter in order to clarify and consolidate the noise regulations into the Zoning Code.  The proposed amendments will also broaden the applicability of overnight noise regulations; extend the unregulated distance from 50' to 100'; apply the decibel standards to daytime noise; and exempt Park District events and School District athletic events from municipal regulation.  The Commission's meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the Village Hall, 361 Happ Road.
