Park Districts
Northfield is fortunate to have outstanding parks and recreational facilities. Northfield residents are part of either the Northfield Park District, Winnetka Part District or Glenview Park District, depending on their address.
If you are looking for a place to play baseball, volleyball, soccer, basketball or tennis, look no further than Northfield parks! Some parks offer amenities including ice skating rinks, shelters and playgrounds. Parks in the Village include:
- Clarkson Park
- Fox Meadow Park
- Happ Road Park
- Northfield Park
- Willow Park
In addition to these wonderful parks, the Village is also the home of the Northfield Community Center. The Community Center is a cooperative effort by the Village of Northfield, School District 29 and the Northfield Park District, and is home to a state-of-the-art fitness facility. All Northfield residents (regardless of which Park District they belong to) are eligible for resident rates for all Park District programs in the Community Center.
