Northfield Businesses Honored

WhatsNewChicagoTrib

Of the 150 Chicagoland companies celebrated as Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces of 2018, three of them call Northfield home.  The list is based on employee feedback and assesses everything from work-life balance to confidence in company leadership.

Northfield’s largest business, Medline Industries, received this prestigious ranking and has a special designation as being recognized as a “Top Workplace” by the Tribune five or more times.  The College of American Pathologists, located at 325 Waukegan Road, was included on the list of midsize award-winning workplaces.

Representing Northfield in the small workplace category was Big Red Rooster Flow, located at 2 Northfield Plaza.  The national provider of project and program management solutions went all-out celebrating the achievement with their employees.  Representatives from the Village, including President Joan Frazier, attended Big Red Rooster Flow’s celebration party.  The company engages in ongoing employee activities including regularly scheduled social events that serve to strengthen employee engagement.

Northfield is excited to be home to three of Chicagoland’s Top Workplaces.  Visit www.chicagotribune.com/business/careers/topworkplaces/ to view the complete list.
